Transcript:
Both teachers and parents should take responsibility for the task of guiding the young towards the right career choice. Children spend their formative years with their family members; a father and a mother become intimately and accurately familiar with their kids’ strengths, weaknesses, shortcomings, tendencies, or idiosyncrasies. That’s how they can effectively steer the young down the career path they should be following. The same is true of teachers. They spend years with young students, dealing with their talents and abilities and aptitude. Therefore, they are a viable option to offer counsel to young people. A joint effort between the two can also result in a more accurate map of the future. PTA meetings, for instance, are a good start or a good hub (If you will) to start coming up with ways to assist teenagers with this choice of future career.
